Peanut Pulao

Peanut Pulao is a simple, healthy, colourful and yummy rice which is very ideal for Lunch box. This is also belongs to pulao family. the taste of this pulao is extremely delicious along with raitha.

Ingredients
  

  • peanut 1 cup
  • jeera samba rice 1 1/2 cup
  • onion 2 no.
  • tomato 1 no.
  • mint leaves 1 handful
  • coriander leaves 3 tsp
  • green chili 5 no.
  • ginger garlic paste 4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil 4 tsp
  • ghee 2 tsp
  • bay leaf 3 no.
  • cinnamon small piece
  • clove 4 no.
  • Fennel seed 1/2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • par boil the peanut by adding salt
  • chop the onion and tomato
  • In a cooker heat the oil and ghee and temper the fennel seed, bayleaf, cinnamon and clove
  • add onion and saute it for 3 mins until it get golden brown
  • add tomato and chopped green chili and mix it
  • make a paste by adding ginger garlic, green chili and mint leaves and add to the masala and mix it
  • add salt and peanut and mix it
  • now add 3 cup of water for 1 1/2 cup rice and allow to boil
  • add rice and allow one whistle
  • Now peanut pulao is ready to serve
