Whole Wheat in Palm Jaggery-Chakkara Gothambu is a whole wheat dessert.It is one of the famous desserts found in malabar muslim households.Here I use palm jaggery to sweeten the dessert.jaggery is immensely beneficial to the health and Its a healthy breakfast too....

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g wheat wash well and soak overnight
  • 250 g Palm jaggery
  • 10 nos Shallots
  • 2 tsp Fennel seeds
  • 2 cup Coconut
  • Water as required
  • Salt pinch

Instructions
 

  • Cook the whole wheat with shallots,fennel seed and salt. You can use a pressure cooker and cook it in for 25-30 minutes
  • Add grated coconut
  • Add palm jaggery and cook it again for10-15 minutes and mix well.
  • Whole Wheat in Palm Jaggery-Chakkara Gothambu-village style is ready,serve it as break fast.
