Cut beef into medium sized pieces and cook in a pressure cooker with garam masala powder - 2 tsp (prepare a mixture of 3 cloves, 1/2 inch cinnamon, cardamom 2 nos, fennel seeds(saunf) 1 tbsp, 5 corns pepper and 1 tsp cumin seeds), chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and one spoon ginger-garlic paste. Dry roast the raw garam masala and powder it. Place cooked beef aside. Meanwhile heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and lightly fry the rice.
In a pressure cooker heat oil and add the whole spices(cinnamon, cloves and cardamom).
Add the coarsely ground ginger, garlic and green chillies. Fry for a minute. Add the chopped onions and saute till the raw smell disappears
Add the tomatoes chopped and after two minutes add the cooked beef.
Add 4 cups of boiling water to this and the chopped coriander and mint leaves.
Add required salt and put the lightly fried rice into this boiling mix. Close the pressure cooker and cook for exactly 5 minutes with the weight kept on it. Switch off the flame and open the cooker only after 10 minutes.
Check for salt and add salt water if needed. Stir well.
Serve Easy Beef Biriyani with raitha and pappad.
