boil the toor dal by adding salt, turmeric powder, tomato, garlic and castor oil
smash the toor dal by beater
chop the onion, green chili
heat the oil in the pan and add onion and saute it until the onion turn into brown
add green chili and salt and mix well
transfer this onion into the toor dal
allow to cook in the medium flame for 10 minutes.
heat the oil in the temper pan and temper the mustard, broken urad dal, curry leaves and asafoetida
transfer this tempered oil into the dal
now tamil nadu style dal fry is ready
