Kondakadalai Kathirikkai Kuzhambu
Kondakadalai Kathirikkai Kuzhambu is a very popular spicy and tangy kuzhambhu with lentils, brinjals and other spices which popular in South Indian households. This goes well with boiled rice.

1 cup kondakadalai chickpea 2 chopped kathirikkai brinjal 15 chopped Shallots 1 cup Tamarind water 1/4 cup Coconut 1 tblsp Sambhar powder Salt as taste 1/4 tsp Turmeric 1 string Curry leaves 1 tblsp Oil 1/4 tsp Mustard 1/2 tsp Jeera 1/4 tsp Fenugreek 1 Tomato
In grinder add coconut and onion and tomato and jeera1/2 tsp grind well
In pan add oil and temper mustard and jeera and fenugreek
Now add shallots and curry leaves saute well
Now add brinjal (egg plant) and saute well and cook till soft
Now add boiled chickpea and mix well
Now add sambhar powder and salt and turmeric
Now add water along with tamarind water bring to boil
Now add coconut paste which we grind early bring to boil thick and when oil comes out and turn off
Now its ready to serve kondakadalai kathirikkai kuzhambu
