ladies finger chopped 2 cups
coconut grated 1 cup
tamarind juice 1/2 cup
tomato 1 no.
onion 1/2 cup
gargic flakes few
red chilly powder 2 spoons
dhania powder 2 spoons
salt to taste
to saute;
fenugreek 1/4 sp
jeera 1/4 sp
mustard seeds 1/4 sp
channa dal 1/4 sp
urad dal 1/4 sp
red chilly 2 no.
curry leaves few
oil 4 spoons
Instructions
heat kadai pour oil, and add fenu greek and jeera
to it add mustard seeds,channa dal, urad dal
when it splutters add curry leaves and red chillies
to it add onions and garlic
now add chopped ladies finger and saute untill it turns soft and the sticky substance goes off
add tomatoes
add tamarind juice
add chilli powder and dhania powder
add coconut paste
after the gravy boils for few mins our ladies finger puli kulambu is ready
Notes
grind coconut along with a pinch of jeera and 3-4 curry leaves for good aroma
