Leftout Rice Vadagam

Normally, we are not aware of using the leftover rice. This vadagam is one of the best solution for that. this crispy vadagam is the best side dish for rice too.

Ingredients
  

  • Leftout rice 1 cup
  • red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • cumin seed 1/2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • make a ready of left out rice, red chili powder, cumin seed, salt
  • in a mixi jar add left out rice, red chili powder, salt and cumin seed and grind it
  • add water little to make as a thick like dough
  • take a star murukku pressure
  • stuff the the left out rice dough into the murukku pressure
  • in a thin cloth press the murukku pressure as shown in a picture
  • allow to dry for 2 days until it get completely dry
  • once it get dry remove from the cloth
  • leftout rice vadagam is ready
  • heat the oil and fry the vadagam
