For cleaning Valaipoo remove from the leaf
Now remove stem and white layer ( refer pic) clean all and keep aside
Chop valaipoo and soak in buttermilk
In mean time Soak rice and dal for 2 hours
Now add dry chili , ginger and funnel seed grind coarsely
Now add dal and rice and grind with chili mixture and keep aside
In panadd oi and temper mustard, channa dal and chopped valaipoo and salt ( for batter too)
Now transfer the valaipoo roo rice dal batter and mix well
In tawa grease oil and spread batter in tawa and turn both side and cook well
Now its ready to serve Valaipoo Aadai.
