Vegetable Salna

Vegetable Salna is a popular Tamil Nadu Hotel's Vegetarian curry which is served with Parotta/Layered Flat Bread. Salna is basically a non vegetarian dish, but can can also be prepared with combos of vegetables.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup mixed vegetables
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • 2 Tomato
  • 2 Green chili
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tblsp Curry masala powder
  • 1/2 cup Coconut paste
  • 1/4 cup Milk / fresh cream
  • 2 tblsp Oil
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Curry leaves and coriander little
  • 1 tsp cumin seed

Instructions
 

  • In pan add oil and temper cumin seed add onion and saute well
  • Add green chili and ginger garlic paste and saute well
  • Now add vegetable and salt and turmeric cook for 10 min
  • Now add tomato and curry masala and saute well
  • Now add water and bring to boil and coconut paste
  • Now its time to turn off . now add milk / fresh cream and turn off.
  • Now its ready to serve Vegetables Salna
