Aloo Capsicum

Tangy Aloo Capsicum Sabji

Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Capsicum chopped removing seeds
  • 2 nos Potato
  • 50 gm Green Peas optional
  • 1 nos Onion chopped, big
  • 2 nos Tomato chopped
  • 4-5 flakes Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Tumeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • Salt as required

Instructions
 

  • Boil the potatoes. Remove the skin and cut into cubes.
  • Heat the oil in a sauce-pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add chopped garlic, cumin seeds fry for 1 minute.
  • Put the chopped onions to it.
  • Once onion becomes transparent, add tomatoes and stir fry
  • Add green peas and chopped capsicum and stir
  • Cover it and cook for few minutes. Keep stirring in between.
  • Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, jeera powder and salt and mix well.
  • Add the potatoes and stir it along with the masalas for 2 mins.
  • Cover and cook over a moderate heat for about 10 mins. Stir several times.
  • Lowering the heat and cook for another 5 mins or until done.
  • Granish with coriander leaves
  • :- Serve with hot parathas or chappathis.
