Heat oil in a kadai add cumin seeds saute for a minute.
Add onions and saute for 2 minutes until it turns transparent.
Take little onion and cumin seeds from this, add some cashews to this and grind it In a mixer to a paste.
Add this paste to the kadai and saute for 2 minutes.
Add tomato puree to this and stir for 2 minutes.
Add ginger garlic paste to this and saute for a minute.
Add chilli powder and turmeric powder to this and stir well for a minute.
Next add coriander powder and garam masala to this and stir well.
Add 1 cup of water and paneer to this and boil for 2 minutes.
Next add milk and coriander leaves to this and boil for a minute.
Add some kasthuri methi to this and boil for 3 minutes until it becomes thick.
Now punjabi paneer butter masala is ready
