Ingredients
  

  • 1 Raw Papaya
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Green chilly
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • -2 tsp Cooked green peas

Instructions
 

  • Remove the skin and seeds of raw papaya.Cut it into small pieces and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a kadai add mustard seeds.When mustard splutters add urad dal, saute for a minute.
  • Add red chilly and curry leaves to this and saute for a minute.
  • Add chopped kapalanga into this kadai and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Grind coconut,cumin seeds,green chilli , chilly powder,turmeric powder and onion in a mixer.
  • Add this ground mix to pappaya and add 1 spoon green peas and salt too.Mix all together well Cook for 5 minutes in a low flame .
  • Now Kerala kappalanga green peas thoran is ready to serve.
