Fish Head (Meen Thala) Curry

It is A Traditional And authentic recipe Made Of Fish Head.It Is Hot and Spicy.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Fish Head Cut into medium size pieces , any big fish
  • 1 no Onion Chopped
  • 8-10 nos Garlic pods crushed
  • 1 inch Ginger crushed
  • 4-5 nos Green chilly slit length wise
  • 4-5 nos Tamarind kudampuli
  • 1 / Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 / Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 / Pepper powder
  • Water as required.
  • Curry leaves.
  • 4 tbsp Coconut oil
  • Salt to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a wide pan , splutter fenugreek seeds and add ginger, garlic, onion, green chilly, curry leaves. Sauté it till the raw smell goes.
  • Then add all powders and sauté it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add warm water, tamarind and salt.When it starts to boil , add cleaned fish head into the pan and mix well. Cover and cook the fish pieces on low flame for 7-10 minutes.(Check occasionally ).
  • Enjoy the Fish Head ( Meen Thala ) Curry with boiled Kappa or Rice.
  • Adjust the spices according to your choices.
