Nadan Thenka Chammanthy

It is a very tasty chutney.It goes well with idly,dosa oothappam,paniyaram etc.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cupgrated Coconut
  • 2 Onion
  • 4 Chilly
  • 6 Curry leaves
  • 2 tsp Yellow split peas
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 3 Red chilly
  • 2 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • In a mixer first grind coconut,onions,yellow split peas,green chilly and salt.
  • Add some water and ground to a smooth chutney.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.When mustards splutters add red chilly and curry leaves.
  • Remove from fire and add to coconut paste.Mix all together.
  • Next boil for 2 minutes
  • Now nadan thenga chammanthi is ready to serve .
