First cut onions into pieces
Then cut brinjal into pieces
then cut tomato into pieces
cut green chilli also
Cookl toor dal for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add brinjal,tomato ,onion and greenchilly to cooked dal.Add salt also.
Add chilli powder and turmeric powder to this.A 1 cup of water.
close the pressure cooker and cook for 10 minutes till all cooked well.After that keep it aside.
Next in a kadai put 2 spoons of coconut oil.
Add mustard seeds,when it crackled add fenugreek seeds,dry red chilly and curry leaves.
Add sambhar powder and asafoetida to this mix it for 2 minutes.
Then mix this tempering to sambhar .
Boil for 2 minutes .Now sambhar is ready to serve.
