Hot Chicken Curry

Srilankan style hot chicken curry

Ingredients
  

  • Chicken Breast : 1 Small
  • Finely cut Green Chillies : 4 nos
  • Garlic (Chopped or Cut) : 3 Cloves
  • Bombay Onion (Finely cut) : ½ nos
  • Curry Leaves : 1 spring
  • Roasted Chili Powder : 3 tsp
  • Roasted Curry Powder : 2 tsp
  • Saffron : a pinch
  • Pepper powder : 1½ tsp
  • Cinnamon : 1 piece
  • Coconut Oil : 3 tsp
  • Salt : according to your taste
  • Cardamoms chopped : 3 nos
  • Thick Coconut Milk : 1 cup
  • Vinegar : 2 tsp
  • Water : accordingly to boil

Instructions
 

  • Cut Chicken breast into pieces.
  • Marinate the chicken with roasted curry powder / roasted chilli powder / pepper / salt / vinegar and set aside for about 30 minutes.

  • Add the marinated chicken, Bombay onions, curry leaves, saffron, piece of cinnamon, cardamoms, garlic, green chillies to a saucepan and cook for about 7 minutes until chicken is lightly colored.
  • Enter Step
  • Then take off from the fire and pour the contents with the liquid into a another saucepan.
  • Pour the coconut oil to the pan which we have removed the contents and keep on fire to heat the oil.
  • When oil is heated pours the whole chicken contents into that saucepan and make it fry.
  • When the chicken becoming brown add the thick coconut oil and cook for 5 minutes.
