Red Cabbage Salad

Ingredients
  

  • Red cabbage : 1 small
  • Finely chopped small onion : 2 nos
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced : 3
  • Olive salt : 1 tsp
  • Salt : as reqd
  • Freshly ground black pepper : few

Instructions
 

  • Remove the outer leaf of the red cabbage. Discard this.
  • Wash the red cabbage, cut it in half and cut out the white stem. Discard this.
  • Chop the red cabbage into strips and keep aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan and add chopped onions.
  • Sauté the onions till they turn light brown in color.

  • Add minced garlic and sauté for a few minutes more.
  • Add cut cabbage and toss the ingredients till mixed well together.
  • Cook uncovered for approximately 10 minutes or till the cabbage is cooked.
  • This salad can be served as a side with chicken roast, meat or mashed potatoes.
