Naadan Green Peas Curry

An easy side dish with Green peas

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Green peas soaked for 7 hours in water
  • 1/2 of Onion
  • 1 no Tomato
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Oil As reqd
  • 5 nos Shallots

Instructions
 

  • Cook green peas in water with salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder and onion.
  • Heat oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add shallots and sauté again.
  • Add tomato, green chilly, curry leaves and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Mix it with cooked green peas and cook for 3-4 minutes.
