For preparing shrimps-cucumber pickle, in a bowl marinate the shrimps and cucumber with salt, chilly powder and turmeric powder. Keep it aside.
Blend fenugreek seeds, 100g garlic, 100g ginger, kashmiri chilly powder, salt and asafoetida to a fine paste. Keep it aside.
Heat sesame oil in a vessel and splutter the mustard seeds.
Add in the ground masala and sautT it till it becomes light brown in colour.
Then toss in the finely chopped garlic, finely chopped ginger, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute it for 2 minutes.
Mix in vinegar and salt.
When it starts to simmer, toss in the marinated shrimps and cucumber. Allow it to cook and then remove it from the flame.
Shrimps-cucumber pickle is ready. Allow it to cool completely and store it in a bottle.
