  • 1 1/2 kg Duck whole with skin
  • 30 g Butter softened
  • 2 clove Garlic finely chopped
  • 5 tbsp Walnuts finely chopped and toasted
  • 1 tbsp Parsley finely chopped
  • 1 no Lime quatered
  • Vegetable oil As reqd
  • Pepper powder As reqd
  • Salt As reqd


  • For preparing tasty roast duck, preheat the oven for 190c.
  • Mix 1 tbsp of butter with the garlic, salt, pepper powder, walnuts and parsley in a small bowl.
  • Spread the butter mixture inside the skin breast of the duck. Place the lime quarters inside the body of the duck and put it into a roasting tin.
  • Pour the oil into roasting tin.
  • Spread butter on top of the duck. Roast the duck till it becomes tender.
  • Garnish with walnuts.
  • Tasty roast duck is ready. Serve hot.
