For preparing yummy pinto beans dry, heat the oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat and saute the onions until it turns golden brown.
Add in ginger, garlic, chilly powder, green chillies, turmeric powder, salt and tomatoes. Saute it for some time.
Then add in the pinto beans and mix it for 5 minutes on low flame.
Pour required water and allow the pinto beans to cook on low flame. Cover it with the pressure cooker lid and allow it to cook until it is done.
Open the pressure cooker and allow it to boil if there is any water remaining.
Garnish with coriander leaves and mix it.
Yummy pinto beans dry is ready. Serve hot with porotta, chapathi etc.
