Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Duck cleaned and finely chopped
  • 2 nos Onion finely chopped, big
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 3 tsp Pepper powder
  • 3 tsp Cumin powder Jeerakam
  • 3 nos Cloves powdered, Grambu
  • 1 inch Cinnamon powdered, Karugapatta
  • 3 springs Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 no Lime
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing delicious spicy duck dry, squeeze the juice of the lime and keep it aside.
  • In a bowl, marinate the duck pieces with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, lime juice and salt over night.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and saute onions with curry leaves till golden brown.
  • Add in cumin powder, pepper powder, salt, cloves powder and cinnamon powder. Saute for 2 minutes on low flame.
  • Toss in the marinated duck pieces and fry it on low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Pour required water, close the lid and allow the duck to cook.
  • Open the lid and boil it till it becomes dry. Keep mixing it.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Remove it from the flame.
  • Delicious spicy duck dry is ready. Serve hot with chappathi, bread, etc.
