Spinach Soya Chunks Biriyani

Ingredients
  

  • 20 pieces Soya chunks
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 2 cups Basmathi rice
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 nos Onion chopped
  • 4 nos Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 3 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 4 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 6 nos Green chillies chopped
  • 2 nos Tomato chopped
  • 2 pieces Ginger chopped
  • 8 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves Few
  • 10 nos Cashew fried in ghee
  • 1 tbsp Mint leaves
  • Salt As reqd
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing spinach soya chunks biriyani, soak soya chunks for 30 minutes. Slice it into 4.
  • Pour oil and ghee in cooker. Saute cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Add onion, capsicum, green chillies, tomato, ginger and garlic.
  • Add soya chunks and spinach. Mix well.
  • Add turmeric, salt, water, coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  • When water starts to boil, add rice. Mix it and cook.
  • When done, transfer it to a serving plate. Decorate with cashew nuts.
