  • 1 1/2 cup Chick peas soaked in water over night
  • 1 no 0nion chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Sesame seeds As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tbsp Parsley


  • For preparing falafel, grind chickpeas, garlic, cumin, parsley, onion and little salt.
  • Make a thick paste. Add baking soda.
  • Make balls out of the dough and flatten little.
  • Dip in sesame seeds and fry it in oil.
  • A wonderful recipe with chickpeas.
  • Falafel is ready.
