Yummy Carrot Cake

Grated carrot and other ingredients are combined to make this mouth-watering cake

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups All purpose flour Maida
  • 2 cups Carrots grated
  • 3 nos Eggs
  • 2 cups Castor sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups Oil
  • 2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 2 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder Jathikka

Instructions
 

  • For preparing yummy carrot cake, take a bowl, beat in eggs and castor sugar till the sugar dissolves.
  • In the same bowl add in oil and vanilla essence. Blend till smooth.
  • Add in maida, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Mix it well.
  • Then mix in grated carrots.
  • Pour the batter into a baking tin.
  • Bake at 180 celsius for 45 minutes.
  • Insert a skewer in the center of the cake to see if it is done. If the skewer comes out clean, then the cake is done.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely before removing it from the tin.
  • Yummy carrot cake is ready. Serve for parties or as a snack for tea.
