Jaggery, dry ginger powder and other spices are mixed together in water

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Jaggery grated
  • Dry ginger powder A pinch, Chukku podi
  • Black pepper powder A pinch
  • 2 cups Water
  • Cardamom powder A pinch
  • Salt A pinch

Instructions
 

  • For preparing panakam, dissolve the jaggery in water and strain it.
  • Add all the other ingredients: dry ginger power, black pepper powder, cardamom powder, and salt into jaggery water.
  • Keep in fridge till chilled.
  • Panakam, a tradition tamil drink recipe is ready.
