Jaggery, dry ginger powder and other spices are mixed together in water

- 2 tbsp Jaggery grated
- Dry ginger powder A pinch, Chukku podi
- Black pepper powder A pinch
- 2 cups Water
- Cardamom powder A pinch
- Salt A pinch
For preparing panakam, dissolve the jaggery in water and strain it.
Add all the other ingredients: dry ginger power, black pepper powder, cardamom powder, and salt into jaggery water.
Keep in fridge till chilled.
