Yummy Smashed Apples

Cooked apples are mixed with honey, sugar and other ingredients to prepare smashed apples, a favorite with kids.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g Apples
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Nutmeg powder A pinch, Jathikka
  • Cinnamon powder A pinch, Karugapatta
  • 1 1/2 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • For preparing yummy smashed apples for kids, first clean, peel and remove the skin of the apples. Cut the apples into small pieces.
  • Boil water in a bowl and add apple pieces, cinnamon and nutmeg. Simmer in low flame till the apples are done and tender.
  • Remove vessel from flame and add sugar and honey.
  • Mix well and serve.
  • Yummy smashed apples, a tasty as well as nutritional dish is ready. Serve warm or cold.
