Tapioca Cutlet

Mashed tapioca mixed with onion and other ingredients to make cutlets

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup Tapioca cooked and mashed, Kappa
  • 1/4 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic crushed
  • 2 nos Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 no Egg white and yolk separate
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • Bread crumbs As reqd
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Oil For frying
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan and pour some oil. Heat the oil and fry crushed garlic and ginger. Saute for sometime.
  • Add chopped onion and green chillies. Fry for sometime.
  • Add turmeric powder, pepper powder, curry leaves, mashed tapioca and required salt. Saute for sometime and remove from fire.
  • Add the egg yolk and mix together.
  • Beat the egg white and keep aside.
  • Shape the tapioca mixture into small cutlets with your palm.
  • Dip the cutlet in egg white and roll in bread crumbs.
  • Take a pan and pour sufficient oil for frying. Heat the oil and fry the cutlets on both sides until golden in color.
  • Yummy tapioca cutlet is ready and serve hot.
