Tomato Rice Made Simple

An easy n nutritious tomato rice recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Tomato
  • 500 g White rice plain
  • Ginger a small piece
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves Few, chopped
  • 2 nos Cloves Grambu
  • Coconut oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Grind together tomatoes and ginger.
  • Add turmeric powder to the tomato mixture.
  • In another vessel cook the plain rice and turn off the burner before the rice is fully cooked.
  • Take a wide bottomed pan and pour oil. Heat the oil and pour the tomato mixture. Add the cloves. Saute for sometime.
  • Stir in the cooked rice slowly and mix gently.
  • Tomato rice made simple is ready and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
