Tamil Nadu Easy Pepper Chicken

Hot n Spicy Chicken with pepper Flavour

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Chicken cleaned and cut into small pieces
  • 2 nos Onion chopped, large
  • 2 tbsp Gingelly oil
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 15 - Curry leaves
  • 2 nos Dry red chillies Kollamulaku
  • 1 - Pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder Jeerakam
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a kadai.
  • Add whole red chillies followed by onion.
  • Saute till onions turn translucent and shiny.
  • Add chicken, turmeric powder, curry leaves and salt, stir well and cover it.
  • Reduce the flame and allow it to cook.
  • When it is half done, add cumin powder and pepper powder.
  • In between, sprinkle some water if needed and cover it.
  • When done, garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve with roti or rice.
