Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 kg Prawns Chemmeen
  • 3 nos Potato
  • 1 no Onion medium
  • 2 nos Carrots
  • 1" piece Ginger
  • 2 - Garlic pods
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Any meat masala
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Coriander leaves A few
  • 2 cups Oil for deep frying
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Marinate prawns in chilly powder and meat masala keep it for 15 mins.
  • Cut potatoes and carrots into small pieces and boil them separately.
  • After it cools, smash it very well.
  • Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Fry onion followed by turmeric powder, garlic, ginger, garam masala powder, curry leaves, coriander leaves, pepper powder and green chillies.
  • To this mixture, add prawns and 1/2 cup of water and let this cook well.
  • Add salt.
  • Before the water gets completely evaporated, add the smashed mixture to it.
  • Stir it well so that it becomes thick.
  • Make this into small balls keeping one prawn in each ball.
  • Fry them in oil till it becomes golden brown.
  • :- Serve with tomato sauce.
