Malabar Style with coconut - made with a wide variety of vegetables/fruits

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tomato or Cucumber or Bitter gourd or Vazha pindi or Ripe mango
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 3/4 cup Grated coconut
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • Salt As reqd
  • For seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Mustard seeds
  • Dry red chillies(Kollamulaku)
  • Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chosen vegetable/fruit finely into small pieces.
  • Cut onion into small pieces and green chillies finely.
  • Add salt and mix the above ingredients thoroughly with your hand.
  • :- Believe me, that gives an extra taste.
  • Grind together coconut and mustard seeds with water and add it to the above mix.
  • Add curd and mix well.
  • Season it with mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves.
