Instructions
Add a little water to jaggery and melt it over fire.
Sieve it and make into a thick syrup measuring 1 cup.
Beat the egg lightly.
Add butter and stir well.
Add jaggery.
Sieve the maida with soda bi carbonate thrice.
Sprinkle spices and salt and join in with egg mixture.
Spread sugar on a paper.
Make small balls with the dough mixture and shape with sugar.
Flatten a little.
Bake for 15 - 20 mins on moderate oven.
