Kerala Pudding

Kerala Pudding, a quick and easy pudding

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Edible gelatin
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Vanilla essence
  • Fresh cream A small tin

Instructions
 

  • Add gelatin to 6 tbsp of water and mix it well.
  • :- Water can be cold or hot - better to follow the instructions given on the gelatin packet.
  • Heat up a pan.
  • Add milk and sugar.
  • Boil it slowly by stirring, until small bubbles comes out.
  • :- Never allow the milk to boil vigorously.
  • Switch off the heat and add gelatin prepared.
  • Mix well and allow to cool well.
  • :- Place the bowl over ice - that helps to set.
  • Add vanilla essence.
  • Beat the fresh cream, until frothy and add it to the mixture.
  • Pour the pudding mixture into the pudding bowl.
  • Keep it in the freezer for 10 mins.
  • Take it out and place it in the lower shelf of the refrigerator.
  • :- The success of pudding lies in the correct quantity of components. 1 tbsp = 3 tsp
