Naadan Coconut Chutney

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 3 nos Red chillies roasted on flame/tawa, Kollamulaku
  • 1/2" piece Ginger
  • 2 - Small onions
  • Salt As reqd

For seasoning:-

  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 no Red chillies Kollamulaku
  • Curry leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • Grind together coconut, red chillies, ginger, shallots and salt along with 1 cup of water.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add broken red chillies and curry leaves and saute for a second.
  • Pour it over the chutney.
  • :- Serve with dosas or idlis.
  • :- For added taste, you can add chopped small onion, while seasoning.
