Chicken Tikka Masala Easy

Spicy chicken Tikka masala

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Chicken boneless pieces
  • 1 no Onion chopped
  • 2 tsp Tomato puree
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger and garlic paste
  • Salt As reqd
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing(finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Cream optional

For marinating:

  • 2 tsp Ginger and garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder Jeerakam
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/2 cup Curd beaten well

Instructions
 

  • Mix together all the ingredients for marinating the chicken.
  • Rub the paste onto the chicken pieces and marinate for 1 hour.
  • Put them on skewers and grill, till cooked.
  • :- Or you can put it on a pan on a low flame or even bake it, till done.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Add onions followed by ginger and garlic paste.
  • Fry well, till the oil separates.
  • Add all the powdered masala, the tomato puree, salt and a little water.
  • Allow the gravy to thicken.
  • Add the chicken pieces and cook for a while.
  • When the gravy becomes thick, remove from fire.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and cream.
  • :- Chicken Tikka Masala is ready.
  • :- Serve Chicken Tikka Masala hot.
