Jeera-Green Peas Pulao

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Basmati rice soaked for 15 mins and drained
  • 1 cup Green peas soaked or fresh frozen
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 3 tsp Olive oil
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped) for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil and ghee together in a pressure pan.
  • Add cumin seeds and fry it for 2 mins.
  • Add basmati rice and fry it for 3 mins.
  • Add water.
  • Add peas and salt.
  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Cover the pan and put the weight and cook for one whistle.
  • :- Do not open, until all the steam is gone.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve with any gravy.
