For preparing the spicy dish, first boil water in a pan.
Add required salt.
Pour the boiling water into the rice flour. Keep stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Let the mixture thicken.
Allow the mixture to cool a bit.
The mixture should be smooth.
Pluck out small balls.
Roll with your palm.
:- Apply a little oil on your hands while doing so.
Steam the rice balls in a steamer for five minutes or until done. Apply a little oil on the steamer plates inside so that the dough will not stick to the bottom.
Allow it to cool.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard seeds, red chillies, a pinch of hing and curry leaves. You can adjust the spiciness of the dish as per requirement.
Add the rice balls and stir.
:- Serve the Spicy Ammini Kozhukattai hot. Enjoy the snack with a cup of hot tea.
