Parippu Vada | Dal Vada

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • 1/2 cup Bengal gram Kadalaparippu
  • 1/2 cup Red gram Thuvaraparippu
  • Salt As reqd
  • Curry leaves Few
  • 1 no. Onion Cut into small pieces, big
  • 2 nos. Green chillies Cut into small pieces
  • 1" piece Ginger Cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Soak all the dals in water for at least 2 hrs.
  • Grind these together to make a thick paste. Do not add water while grinding.
  • Add onions, curry leaves, green chilly, ginger, chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  • Wet your hands and make balls off the paste and make patties.
  • Deep fry in oil till golden brown in colour.
  • :- Serve hot.
