  • 2 cups Milk
  • 4 tbsp Sugar heaped
  • 4 nos Eggs
  • Vanilla A few drops
  • 3 tsp Sugar for caramelizing


  • Heat the sugar for caramelizing in a baking dish for a few seconds on a low flame, until it melts and gets burnt.
  • Turn the dish quickly and carefully to ensure that the caramel spreads evenly over the bottom and sides of the dish. Keep it aside.
  • Beat the eggs well.
  • Add milk, sugar and vanilla essence to it. Make sure that the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Strain it(to remove the balancers of the egg) to the caramelized dish.
  • Cover the mouth of the dish with a butter paper and cook in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes.
  • When ready, cool the dish with its contents and turn it over on a serving plate.
