  • cup Allpurpose flour Maida
  • ½ cup Jaggery Sharkkara
  • 1/4 tbsp Cardamom powder Elakka
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 cup Water


  • Heat water along with jaggery until it dissolves in the water. Strain and leave it to cool.
  • Mix together flour, cardamom powder and ghee along with the jaggery water.
  • Knead them to make a stiff dough.
  • Make small parts of the above dough and roll them into 4" rounds.
  • Keep them aside so as to make them a bit dry.
  • Fry them in hot ghee until the colour becomes golden.
  • Drain and leave it to cool till the khajas becomes crisper.
  • :- Serve it or store in an airtight container.
