Ingredients
  

  • 1" piece Ginger
  • 1/2 cup Grated coconut
  • 3/4 cup Buttermilk Moru
  • Salt As reqd
  • For seasoning:
  • 2 tsp Coconut Oil
  • 2 nos Red chillies Kollamulaku
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Asafoetida A pinch, Kayam

Instructions
 

  • Grind grated coconut, ginger and salt together by adding water.
  • Mix buttermilk to it.
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds and when it splutters, add red chillies and a pinch of asafoetida.
  • Pour this on the above mixture.
  • :- It can also be done in the same way by using Mavina Shunthi usually available in Karnataka.
