  • Wheat flour
  • Ghee
  • Sugar
  • Cardamom(Elakka) powder


  • Dry roast the wheat flour on a low flame, stirring constantly till the colour changes slightly and gets aromatic. Remove from stove and allow the flour to cool completely.
  • When cooled, add sugar (preferably powdered suger) and cardamom powder.
  • Divide this mixture into portions.
  • Add ghee to each portion and roll into ladoos.
  • :- If making for the first time, the laddoos might be a little hard to assemble, but practice makes perfect.
