Marinate fish with chilli powder, turmeric, salt & lemon juice.
Then shallow fry them on both sides.
Keep aside.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic paste and chopped onion. Saute till the onion turns light brown in colour.
Then add garam masala powder, pepper powder and saute for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomato, crushed green chilly and curry leaves. Saute for 7-8 minutes in medium flame.
Add fish pieces. Cover with a lid & cook for 5 more mins in low flame and turn off the flame. Delicious Malabar Fish Fry Masala is ready now.
