Soak for 2 hours Cowpea / karamani
In mixer jar add cowpea / karamani and dry red chilli, 4 number shallots, garlic, funnel seed grind well
Add salt and grind well if need add very little amount of water
In steamer plate apply oil and keep this ground masala as thick size and plate full round
Now steam for 10 mins and allow to cool
Now cut like fish shape and keep aside
In tawa or pan add oil and shallow fry the vegetarian fish / saiva meen. Toast both side and keep aside.
IN pan add gingelly oil and temper mustard, jeera, fenugreek seed and curry leaves
Now add shallots and saute well and add tomato and saute well
Now add all powders and mix well and saute
Now add tamarind water and boil till the raw small goes out
For thick curry you can add that ground paste little with water and can add to the curry
Bring curry to boil as little thick and make sure with medium flame of gas burn
Now add the vegetarian fish / Saiva Meen to curry and bring boil foe 5 to 7 mins and turn off.
Now your Saiva Meen Kuzhambu ready
