In a pressure cooker, add mutton, turmeric powder, 2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and salt, mix well, and cook for 4-5 whistles. Turn off the heat and let the pressure release on its own.
In a kadai heat oil, add curry leaves, green chilies and remaining ginger garlic paste. Sauté until raw smell goes.
Add shallots and onion, sauté till the onion gets softened and golden brown.( add some salt)
Add 2 tsp chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and remaining pepper powder. Saute well for 2 minutes.
Add tomato and mix well. Cover the kadai with a lid, and leave until the tomato gets thoroughly cooked.
Add cooked mutton in it, and sauté well for few minutes.
Cook till the mutton is roasted nicely and is dark in color. You can also add oil, salt , pepper or masala in between if needed.
Super delicious mutton roast is ready to be served with chapathi , Porotta etc....
