clean and wash the vazhaipoo
In a pressure cooker heat the oil and ghee and temper the aniseed, bay leaf, clove, cinnamon, cardamom
add sliced onion and green chili and saute it for 3 mins until it turn into golden brown
add ginger garlic paste and saute it
add chopped tomato and mix well
add mint leaves and coriander leaves and mix it
add vazhaipoo and mix it
add curry masala powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well
add required water for rice into ratio of 2: 1 and allow to boil
once the water get boiled add rice, mix it and allow for 1 whistle
now vazhaipoo briyani is ready to serve
