Gooseberry's Recipe [AMLA]

Amla dipped in spicy and healthy masalas

  • Amla: 10 fresh
  • 3 Broken red chilli: 2
  • Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
  • Ajwain: 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste: 2 tsp


  • Wash and prick amla’s all over with a fork. Put this amla into a bottle.
  • Add broken red chillies, turmeric powder, salt, ajwain and add lukewarm water.
  • All amlas must dip into the water.This amla get all masalas taste, ajwain, chilli, salt and turmeric.
  • Keep this amla in the sunlight every day for 1 week and serve. Even children also like to eat this amla. It can be kept for 1 month.


we can add coriander seeds instead of ajwain.
