Tomato Pachadi

Tomato Pachadi is a famous south Indian side dish prepared during special or festive occasions. This is a tasty and slightly tangy. This is prepared with curd, tomato, coconut as a main ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Nos Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 2 tspns Mustard Seeds
  • Salt To taste
  • 2 cups Grated Coconut
  • 5 Nos Green Chillies
  • 3 small Ginger
  • 10 leaves Curry leaves small size

Instructions
 

  • Clean and cut the Tomatoes into small pieces and keep them aside.
  • Grind the Coconut, Ginger, Green Chillies, Curry leaves, Mustard seeds along with required quantity of Salt together and change this paste into a bowl/vessel. Also add Curd into this paste and stir it.
  • Then add the Tomato pieces also and stir it further for about 2 minutes.
  • Tomato Pachhadi is ready. This Tomato Pachhadi can serve as side dish for Iddaly/ Dosa/Parotha/Cooked Rice etc. After use, keep the remaining Pachhadi in fridge.
