Instructions
Grind together the green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger and cumin seeds into a paste.
Cook the toor dal, along with garlic pods and turmeric powder.
Heat 2 - 3 tsp cooking oil or ghee in a pan or a kadai.
Saute the bay leaves and cinnamon stick for sometime.
Add onions & fry till golden brown.
Add the ground paste & fry till all the water leaves & the paste turns brown in colour.
Add the cooked dal.
Add salt to taste.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
:- Serve with Roti / Paratha / Jeera Rice.
